Cordell is excited to be a part of his first Great River Roads production! He has done quite a lot of theatre around the area, mostly in River Falls where he just graduated last year from UW-RF with a triple major in theatre, music and mathematics. Most recently he was seen in his second chorus role with the Minnesota Opera Company and their production of Don Giovanni performed at the Ordway. Locally, he was last involved with the Ames Old School Dinner Theatre in Ellsworth, where he directed and acted in (for the third time) The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged. Cordell has also been no stranger to St. Croix Valley Summer Theatre, where he’s played everything from Wayne Frake in State Fair, Bill Sykes in Oliver! and Lun Ta in The King And I, to name a few. Working both on and off stage, Cordell has also stage managed and directed, most notably he directed Caught in the Net at the Steam Boat Inn Dinner Theatre right in Prescott. You might also remember him from the 2001 Kids From Wisconsin, a show choir that tours all over Wisconsin. In his younger days, he was also very involved with 4-H, the starting point of his acting and singing career!
